Halide Supply is a professional analogue film processing lab located at 128 Smith St, Collingwood VIC 3066, Australia. We develop C-41 (colour negative), black and white, E-6 (slide), and ECN-2 (cinema) film stocks in 35mm and 120 formats. All processing includes high-resolution digital scans as standard.

## Services

### Film Processing

We develop film using professional-grade equipment and chemistry:

- C-41 (colour negative): Fujifilm and Noritsu minilab processors using Fuji CN-16 and Kodak Flexicolor RA chemistry. 35mm $18, 120 $22. Standard turnaround is 1 business day.
- Black and white: Modified Noritsu V30 leader card processor in Kodak X-tol chemistry. 35mm $25, 120 $27. Turnaround is 5-7 business days.
- E-6 (slide film): In-house processing using Jobo rotary film processors with Fujifilm E6 chemistry. 35mm $35, 120 $35. Turnaround is approximately 14 business days.
- ECN-2 (cinema film): Processed on site. 35mm $35, 120 $35. Turnaround is approximately 14 business days.
- C-41 develop only (no scans): 35mm $10, 120 $10. Same day turnaround.
- B&W develop only (no scans): 35mm $20, 120 $24.

All chemistry is monitored and tested regularly with control strips and densitometer quality control strip readers.

Standard scan resolution is 6000x4000 (24MP) for 35mm. 120 format resolutions vary by frame size (6x4.5 17MP, 6x6 23MP, 6x7 28MP, 6x9 35MP). Scans are delivered as high-resolution JPGs via Dropbox.

Extra services include push processing (+$5 per stop), TIFF 16-bit scans (+$10 per roll), Xpan high-res scans (+$10), half frame and 3D processing (+$10), and cut-and-archive sleeves (+$5 per roll).

### Photo Printing

Available exclusively to film processing lab customers.

- 6" prints: Fujifilm Frontier DE100-XD printer on Fujifilm Lustre photo paper. 6x4" for 35mm, 6x6" for 120. $15 per roll.
- Large format prints on Fine Art Silk/Satin heavyweight fibre 315gsm paper (designed to match traditional darkroom silver halide paper): A4 $20, A3 $25, A3+ $30, A2 $45.

Print turnaround is up to 5 standard business days.

### Negative Storage and Collection

Processed negatives and slides are stored for 28 days from the date of the processing completion email. After that period, uncollected negatives are disposed of by a waste management company. Extended storage or postage can be arranged by contacting us before the storage period ends.

Collection is booked via a link in the processing completion email. Digital scans are delivered via Dropbox and remain available for 28 days. Expired Dropbox file retrieval costs $15 per order (for orders from 1 January 2022 onwards).

### Live Tracking

QR code-based real-time tracking is available. After submitting film, customers receive a QR code that links to a live tracking page showing the current processing status.

Public JSON APIs are available with no authentication required.

### GET /api/turnarounds

Returns current film processing turnaround times for all processes, updated in real time from lab data. Turnaround times are rolling 7-day averages.

Response fields:
- updated_at: ISO 8601 timestamp of the last data refresh
- processes: object containing c41, bw, e6, and ecn2, each with:
  - time: human-readable turnaround time (e.g. "1.5 days", "5 hours")
  - backlog_label: current backlog status ("Normal", "Mild Backlog", "Moderate Backlog", or "Severe Backlog")
  - backlog_color: hex colour code representing the backlog severity

### GET /api/hours

Returns current opening hours, whether the store is open right now, and upcoming Victorian public holidays.

Response fields:
- timezone: always "Australia/Melbourne"
- now: current time in ISO 8601 / RFC 3339 format
- is_open: boolean, true only if within opening hours on a non-holiday, non-closed day
- today: object with day name, hours, is_public_holiday boolean, and holiday_name (empty string if not a holiday)
- schedule: array of 7 day objects (Monday through Sunday) each with day name and hours
- upcoming_holidays: array of upcoming Victorian public holidays with date (YYYY-MM-DD) and name
